Good food, good drinks
This bar is set up with too many tables crammed into the space they have. The back room is better though. Fewer people hang out back there too so it's always less crowded. The pool table is back there. They have great sweet potato fries too. I really like their food.
Cheap hang out
The bar attracts people who seldom use deodorant, but you can get great drink deals and play pool all night long. The bartenders work quickly so you don't have to wait too long for your drinks. And they serve pizza for those late night hunger attacks.
Fun pub for locals
It always seems like there's a crowd of regulars here, but they're welcoming to all who want to enjoy it. The drinks are cheap and they have vendors come in to play games with the crowd sometimes. Fun pub.
Great dancing
I love the 80s night at Mira Bar. The dancing there is so much fun. Nobody dances better than the gay boys! It does get a bit crowded around the bar and on the dance floor, but it's a guaranteed good time.
good veggie options
Red Fez has a great assortment of vegetarian options on their menu. It's a little dark in there, which would really be my only complaint. The food is good and pretty decently priced. Worth checking out.
A legacy in Providence
This late night hamburger joint on wheels is a downright legacy in Providence. After a night out at the bars it's exactly what you're looking for, and it's conveniently located right in downtown. Next time you're out it's a definite must check out!
Organic
Great locally harvested organic food served from an eclectic menu. There's a long bar so it's pretty easy to get a drink, and the staff are friendly and willing to make suggestions.
Great grilled bagels
There is a free coffee hour every morning here from 7:30 to 8:30, and I have to say, coffee never tastes as good as when it's free! It is seriosuly very good coffee though. Cleaner but less charm
Almost as good as the original. This newer Stanley's is definitely cleaner and more modern that the original. I think it's missing some of that old greasy spoon charm though. The food is just as tasty.
Tasty brunch
Bravo serves a great brunch, when they're open. I feel like I just got lucky the one time I went and was able to eat there. I've tried to go back several times because the food was so good but every time they've been closed. If they had better hours this place could be really fantastic.
