Pine Forest Golf Club was great...DO NOT WALK IT
What a neat course tucked in around Bastrop. This course had a good deal of relief and I would not recommend trying to walk this course. Good greens and fairways. Not a typical course layout but they did great winding it around the hills. Add it to the list...
Starbucks is great in Bastrop!
This place got it right! Real People,Really Great Coffee. Makes my day to start off there each morning. The staff not only are extremely consistent with always good coffee and they always have a smile for me.
Tropicana Motel is terrible
Roach fest. I dont see why customers have to pay $60 for a room that is already occupied by 100000 ROACHES. Although they try and compensate with loud adult movies that will come on as soon as you power on the tv. no hot water or heater in my room
Kathy does a great job!
Get my hair cut there once a month since moving to Bastrop a year ago and have left happy every time. Very inexpensive as well. She also is open on weekends and many holidays.
Slow and rude
I know it doesn't take 2 hours to fill a script for a Z-pack. Seem more concerned about if your insurance is going to pay rather than giving good customer service. Wish we had a CVS.
Great service. Good prices
I bought a set of tires for my Corolla. Made the appointment on-line and welcomed the next day. Waited for less than an hour for a set of four balanced and mounted. Bring them back every 5000 miles for balancing/rotation and work promptly completed.

Good Golf Course
This is a very interesting track. The front nine plays like a links course and the back nine plays like the Texas hill country. The scenery is beautiful and the course is definitely a challenge.
