I was having transmission problems with my car so I talked with 5 transmission shops in the area. All but AAMCO Transmission of Irving stated that I would need a new transmission (~$1,700). AAMCO said I should flush the transmission first which I did ($127). The transmission is working fine now.

My wife and I had a rough go of it with our mini van and had to leave it with another service center before discovering that further work would have to done someplace else. So we called Dave at Aamco and received TOP NOTCH service at a fair price. In a time when excellent service is hard to find, it was a pleasant surprise to find that a handshake, good customer service, and quality is still in vogue!

This Aamco is the BEST!!!! Real deal honest, reliable trustworthy mechanics! These are the guys that you tell your friends and family about knowing that they'll thank you for it. I have recommended THIS LOCATION of Aamco Transmission to many, many people over the years and they have never come back with anything less than glowing reviews. Last month I got an amazing deal on an Explorer because I took it to Steve before purchase and he let me know that the noisy problems it was having were easily and inexpensively fixed. It runs beautifully now! Quiet but with more power and better gas mileage. Seriously what more can you ask for? Oh yeah! They checked it out for free! I have a vehicle now that I never could have afforded without their guidance. Thank you Steve and Scott!!! By the way in all the years I've been to see Scott at Aamco he's never been less than caring and attentive, even when I'm being a bit of a pain ;) This is a quality establishment! Check it out for yourself and you'll see that I'm right!

This manager is very honest and reliable. He specializes in transmissions but has began doing general auto maintenance as well. He always returns parts and offers his professional opinion on replacing parts. He doesn't tell you that there are things wrong with the car that aren't. I would recommend him highly.
