They carry a huge variety of classical clothing for the young working women or middle-aged women, with casual and professional clothing. Very clean store with great customer service.

I really enjoy doing some shopping in Fanueil Hall, as opposed to other chain locations throughout the city. There is just something sweet and kind about the people who work in Fanueil, and less mean as their counterparts in trendier parts of the city. The ladies at Ann Taylor in Fanueil Hall are kind and quiet, and certianly less fake than their sister store on Newbury Street. It is a less high volume store, so when you ask for something, you never feel as if you're being put out.

I never like Ann Taylor before but they have completely turned around and changed their style. You can still look good when you go to work without looking too old or overly conservative. They have nice suits and skirts. I would suggest waiting for their sales though. They offer 40% off sales throughout the year.

This is one of the nicer Ann Taylor stores. Good variety of sale items usually upstairs, and a great selection of new seasonal items as well. Large store. Easy to get to location. Friendly staff.
Ann Taylor clothes are wonderful quality--all the added touches that make clothes nice. Reasonably priced sale items.

Ann Taylor's clothing line is very elegant and stylish. I think they cater more to business women, rather than casual clothes for everyday. The nice thing is that you don't notice a lot of other people wearing the clothes so you feel like you have something unique. The original prices are often high but there are great sales throughout the year.
PROS: unique styles
CONS: price

I really love to shop at Ann Taylor, especially this location. It is conveniently located, with ample parking right in front of the store. But they sales staff can be very unfriendly, which is not typical of Ann Taylor serivice. I don't know why this occurs at this location, as most others are helpful and polite.

If you would like career clothes, or slighly upscale casual clothes, this is a terrific place for that. They always have great sweaters, blouses and slacks for work and the pricing is reltively moderate. They also have great endo f season sales.

Ann Taylor is a "godsend" for those of us that are a little too tall for petites and a little to short for regular sized clothing...women in the 5'2'to 5'5' range will likely have luck. The line is classy professional, without making the wearer appear too matronly. The line is also flattering: not too fitting or snug but also not too baggy. This Ann Taylor is well-organized, though sometimes sizes tend to "float" to the wrong section. The line for the dressing room passes quickly, and the employees are usually polite. For the quality of clothing you receive, the prices are quite reasonable, often considerable less expensive than comparable items at Nordstroms or Macys.

This store is great for either the business or casual clothing needs that you may have, and they have wonderful help in the store. They always have lots of stock. Be warned that this is a more top-of-the-line store to start, so if you are a bargain shopper all the way, you may get sticker shock. The quality and selection is great though, well worth the prices. Enjoy!

I haven't shopped at Ann Taylor much but from my last visit, I have to say I like their dressy clother more than their casual clothes. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is average. The store is pretty big too. I think it is geared toward older adults or the business professional. I liked the store because they sale was good. The one thing that is most special about them is they dont carry everyday fashions that you would find at Target or Marshalls. They are located in the mall and there is free parking.

Before I retired and I worked for a huge insurance company where I had to dress professionally everyday. Ann Taylor provided my wardrobe. The clothes are very high in quality and very comfortable. It gave me a very good feeling wearing ann taylor clothes. The style is not only for mature women but you can find clothes for all ages now even kids.

I have been a huge Ann Taylor fan for years, but in the past year, I have been really disappointed. It seems the cut of the pants and skirts has been changed to add more room in the hips, in both the petite and regular sizes. They no longer fit me at all - and even the salespeople at the store agree they fit me terribly.
But worse, I've noticed the quality has really decreased. It seems like the popularity has made some in the company think its ok to reduce quality? I have a silk twinset I bought from AT over 10 years ago. Despite having machine washed it (it says dry-clean) repeatedly, it has not faded or worn out.
I was trying on dressses this winter and found that the dress I liked was already coming apart at the seams simply from being hung up!
I also bought a pair of light pink suede-ish pants on sale for $50, and within 4 wearings, the hems fell out! I've noticed that the seaming is coming lose in other areas as well, and the pants are not tight.
I still like the style of Ann Taylor, but between the changes in the fit and the quality, I try to stop myself from even going in anymore.
The store is always appealing to the eye and has clothes of a nice design, but the fit and quality have changed.
The staff here is always professional and helpful without being pushy, and they wrap your clothes nicely in a pretty bag.

I love Ann Taylor clothes. I wear petite and their petite clothes fit me perfectly. Its like they were made for my body type and they are great for work attire. I also have found some amazing dresses from Ann Taylor that are perfect for weddings.
