The food here is amazing. I cannot say one negative thing about it. I love that the portions are large and that you share with the group, but make sure if you are going on a date the two of you are going to be able to agree on a dish. The tables were a little close together, and we were seated under an air conditioning vent once, so our food got cold fast. The atmosphere could be revamped to be more inviting to the guests. I also love the walk through the kitchen. You know they keep their things clean if they are willing to show you.

This place is located on the south side of Stonebriar Mall. If you have not had the chance to bring your family to the restuarant this is the place to take them. Between the tour they give you through the kitchen to all the pictures on the wall it is a great conversation place. If you have kids, take them there as the place is loud and they won't be heard. The food is great as they bring out family style and it is like eating a good Italian dinner with your family at a restaurant. Try eating in the kitchen but you have to reserve the only table there. AWESOME

This place is down right fun! The food is great. Sharing the plates "family style" really allows you to experience things you might never have ordered. Going here in a large group really enhances the experience!

Generous portions, never waited more than a min or two for a drink. The atmosphere is fun and the waitress was very friendly. Fresh italian food and I recommend the Chicken canneloni. Delicious.

Great atmosphere has a warm and cozy feeling. Portions are very larger and served family style. You can order for two I have done this many times and gone home with lunch for the next day! Great drinks as well!

I will first say this is a very special place. My husband and I have spent more than one date there before and after we were happily married. A friend of mine told me about this place. He said don't forget to ask for the "kitchen table". I had no idea what he meant so I asked for it when I made my reservation. This very special table is located in the cent of the kitchen. We got to see all the chef's and cooks and every one that works there. We saw all of our food being cooked and even got some "mess up orders" on the house. We loved the service and the food. For great Italian food this is the place! It's located down town so you can catch a movie before or after you eat.

What I about to tell you is not a story, and it is not a joke.
I ordered food to-go on January 29 from Buca Di Beppo on 925 Blossom Hill Road, Suite 1529, San Jose, CA 95123. The total amount of food was $14.xx. As usual, I paid by credit card.
But when I received my create statement, it show $2 extra. My record, the Customer Copy of the receipt in my hand clearly indicated that it was $14.xx. I never pay tip on to-go orders.
When I contact the store manager, he said that there was a $2 tip on the charge that night. And right away, he agreed to refund the $2 extra. But, he denied that it was a mistake by the clerk (I hope it was a mistake). He blamed on me that put down a tip without remembering it. He was well defending his employees. As I have never paid tips in to-go order in my life, I know it was not my mistake. When I ask him to investigate to prevent further error (again, I hope it was an error), the manager refused to do so.
I am not blaming on anyone. But, this kind of service makes me feel like being cheated. If thatâ??s the way I am treated, I believe someone else was treated the same way. I can clearly tell you that Buca Di Beppo is out of my list for good. I will never eat at Buca again.

The wait can be a bit hiry but it is a really fun place to have dinner. The food is good and huge portions. Just order a bunch and share! The ambience is festive and colorful.

Love it...noisy, fun. good food. great portion size. Nice Italian food.
Call in advance...and see if there is a reservation for the table in the kitchen...Reserve it early for a special treat. Pricing is reasonable.
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
