When they sent someone to my home to install; they tried overcharging me for work that was not done. And when I spoke to the owner/manager of this store, he was very rude and was unwilling to cooperate. I would never recommend doing business with this particular owner.
	Budget Blinds in Bellingham, WA By Brendan K. I placed an order with Budget Blinds in March of last year. The original estimate of two weeks became a month and two weeks. The material they installed was not what I ordered; and hundreds of dollars cheaper than what I paid. The owner, Joe Anstett, has made absolutely no effort to have this problem fixed. I have routinely talked with him and he has said that the problem will be taken care of with no result. It has been almost a year. Both the BBB and the Attorney General of Washington got involved and Mr. Anstett completely ignored all communication with them. Even the parent company said they could not help in any way. His company has no physical location. The number of the advertised business goes to an answering service, so you can never speak to a representative of their franchise unless they call you. I have never had a worse experience in a business transaction than the one I have had with Mr. Anstett and Budget Blinds.
