I came here a week ago wanting to look about joining. I explained to someone that I was thinking about joining, but wasn't sure yet. they were understanding and patient. He let me ask all the questions I wanted, and then asked me about what I was looking to do. I have never been to a gym ever and I haven't exercised unless you count high school gym class. When I explained this he took the time to tell me about how I should go about it and what kind of things to do. He finally took me on a tour of the whole place. It was only afterwards he asked if I wanted to join. When I said I wanted to, they then helped me fill out all the forms. I was pleased that they recommend the shorter cheaper plan for me to try it out instead of trying to get me to sign up for the super deluxe package or something. I made an appointment the next day to meet with someone to show me how to use machines and help me make an exercise routine. Once again they were extraordinarily helpful, explaining the rudimentary principals behind exercise and weight loss and once again putting up with my stupid questions. This was always free which I thought was a pretty big deal for all the effort they put in. The machines are well kept and clean, there is always some one there to help, The building is kept and a nice temperature, and the place is huge so there is always something free. I went from being terrified of going at all to looking forward to my excursions to the gym.
