YMCA is a great place to start uf you want to change the way and feel inside. The workout equipment is so new and easy to use. The staff there was eager to teach me how to use each machine. This is one of the best and the most cleanest YMCA i have been before.

Despite the rather iffy location this is still the best gym yet! The price and staff could not be cooler! Now, the only thing cooler than that would be the equipment, which is great! They have every machine known to man! 5/5!

YMCA in Fort Worth, TX

5 stars

The main branch is really nice. All kinds of areas to spread out into. Big indoor pool, lots of classes. Locker area is wonderful. The prices are nearing the high mark but Ok. Parking is downtown and not too bad, there is a free lot available for use, otherwise park on the street with a meter. LOTS of stairs (don't bring the stroller). Staff is very friendly and downright funny.

When I needed a safe, reliable, nurturing place for my kids while I went back to work, I had to look no farther than this Y. The staff are loving and professional. The activities are creative, age appropriate, and fun. The facility is inviting and clean. My kids love it and I feel wonderful knowing that they are enjoying the time they spend there. I especially love all the special events and parent involvement opportunities! It makes us feel like part of the family.

YMCA in Las Vegas, NV

My sister enrolled her kid for swimming lesson at this YMCA last summer and very happy with the place. She said everyone there was very friendly and expecially her kid's swimming instructor. YMCA offers classes for everyone and all ages who want to learn to swim. It's very safe and cheap. The facility is one of the best recreational places in town. Highly recommend it for everyone.

YMCA in Culver City, CA

though it is small, this YMCA has a great atmosphere. friendly staff and great members make it a family Y, where there is cardio, weights, a pool, basketball court and even day care for members.

YMCA in North Arlington, NJ

3 stars

By Flavia R.

My kids are involved with the YMCA summer camp in our town and seem to think it is ok. They are not too thrilled about going to the Lakes all the time. The counselors are well trained. The price is somewhat affordable and great for the working parents, hours are from 7:30am to 6pm. The YMCA should invest in getting air conditioned buses when the kids go on long trip and have water bottles available to them and not as an extra fee to the parents.

You really cannot beat YMCA... they have everything! Excellent staff, open great hours, this place is the greatest place you can go for awesome family fun, sports, exercise, fun, etc. Really a great place. Basketball, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, this place is just wonderful! You can't beat it for the price, either, which is great if I might add. If you ever come by this place, I highly recommend you stop by, and have some fun. So many things to do there, it's just mind boggling! And they're all fun, and it's a safe, friendly enviornment to take place in. I highly recommend it to everybody.

YMCA in La Jolla, CA

As an experienced gymnast and coach at the La Jolla YMCA, I strongly recommend these great classes. They are designed for kids of all ages to have fun, learn new skills and meet new friends.

YMCA in Mountain View, CA

By Palo Alto Soccer Club (92G "Storm")

This place is great because you avoid the multitude of people like in 24 Hour. This is until you write a good review and then everyone goes there. Perhaps I should give this a negative review so my machines wont be used up. Clean, lot of equipment and not a lot of people.

YMCA in Auburn, WA

5 stars

We love our YMCA membership and this facility is outstanding! They have an incredible pool area! There is a water slide for the kids (they have to pass a swimming test first), and a shallow pool for the smaller kids that has an adjustable bottom. Certain times will be certain depths so you can take your infant and they will feel like they are in the tub...and yes, the water is real warm! I also like their classes. They have complimentary child care while you are there which is an added bonus. There is a room for infants to age 5, and another for 6-12. The prices are reasonable for a family membership, as long as you're consistent about using it.

YMCA in Westminster, MD

If you are looking for a gymn to join, this is the one. They offer a very fair family package and there are loads of things for the kids as well, such as camps, swim teams, etc. Free daycare is available and there is a very warm staff to greet you, answer any questions and ease you through the orientation. Stop in anytime for a tour of the facilities. There is a great heated indoor pool open year round. PROS: Affordable, Friendly CONS: None
