1. What is Insider Pages?
We all look for word-of-mouth referrals when trying to find the right business. Whether you are looking for a contractor, a salon, a dentist, a pediatrician or a family-friendly restaurant, it helps to learn from the experiences of other people.
Insider Pages has millions of reviews on local businesses in your community. Busy parents and community members come here to find the best businesses for their families or to share their inside knowledge on the businesses they count on.
 
2. How can I view information about my member account?
To view your account information, sign into your member account and then click the my profile link located on the upper right corner of every page. You must be signed in to view your account information.
 
3. Can I change my user name?
Yes. Your user name is the email address that you entered when you first registered on Insider Pages. You can change it by signing into your member account and clicking on the my profile link. Remember that your user name is also the default email address that we use to communicate with you, so be sure to choose an account that you check frequently. Insider Pages will not share your information.
 
4. I have forgotten my user name or password. How can I retrieve them?
Your Insider Pages user name is the email address you used to create your member account. Please be sure to try all of your active email addresses if you are having problems signing into your member account. To retrieve your password, you can use our automated system by clicking here.
 
5. What is Facebook Connect?
Facebook Connect allows you to log in to Insider Pages with your Facebook account. No new password to remember and Facebook will import your profile picture to display on your Insider Pages account.
 
6. I don’t have an Insider Pages account, but I do have a Facebook account. How do I sign in using Facebook Connect?
To sign in using Facebook Connect, click the "sign in with Facebook" link at the top right corner of the page. Once you have allowed Facebook to share your information with Insider Pages, you will be asked to create an Insider Pages account. Just enter your email address and you are finished!
 
7. I have an Insider Pages account. How do I link my Facebook account and my Insider Pages account?
To sign in using Facebook Connect, click the "sign in with Facebook" link at the top right corner of the page. Once you have allowed Facebook to share your information with Insider Pages, you will be asked to sign in to Insider Pages with your existing account information. Click the “link my accounts” button and you are finished. Now you can sign in with your Insider Pages information or your Facebook log in.
 
8. How do I disconnect my Facebook account from Insider Pages?
To disconnect your Facebook account from Insider Pages, you must log in to your Facebook account. Once on Facebook, click the Applications link in the bottom left corner and choose "Edit Applications." Once there, choose the "Authorized" option from the Show drop-down menu. Look for the Insider Pages application, click the "X" and your accounts will be disconnected.
 
9. How do I terminate my Insider Pages account?
If you would like to delete your Insider Pages account, please submit your request using the Contact Insider Pages page.
 
10. How will my member name be displayed?
Users of Insider Pages can only see your first name and first initial of your last name as they appear next to your business reviews.
 
11. How do I report a review that is inappropriate?
You may report a review that you feel is inappropriate by clicking on the “Report Abuse” link below the review in question. You must be signed into your Insider Pages member account to report a review. If you are not an Insider Pages member, you may join by clicking here.
 
12. Can I add a business listing to Insider Pages?
Yes. To add a business that is not listed on Insider Pages please follow these steps:
  1. Please sign into your Insider Pages member account. If you are not an Insider Pages member, you may join by clicking here.
  2. Search for the business that you wish to add.
  3. If the business is not listed, click on the ‘Add a Business’ button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Fill out the contact information and categories for the business.
 
13. How do I update a business listing?
You may make us aware of any incorrect information we have for a business by clicking on the ‘Edit Business Info’ link in the gray bar at the bottom of the business card. You must be signed into your member account to submit changes. If you are the owner of the business, click on the ‘Are you the owner?’ link to claim your listing and update any incorrect information. Once you have claimed your business, you can add photos, a 'message from the owner,' coupons and much more for free!
 
14. I have a business listed on Insider Pages. How can I manage this listing?
Insider Pages allows business owners to customize their business listings for free. Business owners can add photos, coupons and a 'message from the owner' to improve page performance. To customize your business page, go to your business listing and click the 'Are you the owner?' link. Follow the instructions and begin adding content to improve your business' Internet performance.
 
15. I cannot locate a business that I’m searching for.
Typically it takes up to 24 hours for a newly added business to become searchable on our site. If you are unable to locate a business after that time or this does not apply to the business that you are searching for, please add the business to Insider Pages by following the steps in # 8 above.
 
16. Is there a maximum number of photos I can upload?
Every member may upload up to 20 photos per business listing on Insider Pages. If you reach your maximum, consider deleting some of your older photos to make room for your new ones.
 
17. How can I edit or delete photos I've added for a business?
If you would like to delete a photo you have added for a business, please contact customer service at customerservice@insiderpages.com with your the name of the business and your Insider Pages user name.
 
18. Are there limits on file sizes or file types for uploads?
We accept JPG, PNG, and non-animated GIF file types. Each photo must be less than 5MB in size and 3072 x 3072 in resolution. If your photo is too large, you can resize it using photo editing software. Please note, photos with a 16:9 ratio will display most clearly on the page.
