David Carr

David Carr is another victim of franchise expansion, at the top of the 2002 draft, he was selected to be a franchise quarterback. However, he suffered a similar fate to Tim Couch. A weak O-Line and a less than stellar running game sealed his fate early on. Many feel that the Texans ineptitude during that time with their hiring and coaching put Carr in a situation where he had little protection on the field. This was evident when he was sacked nine times playing the Chargers in his second career start.

Where is David Carr today?

In 2015 Carr took a position at Bakersfield Christian High School as an offensive coordinator, his brother is the head coach.
