Golden Bridge Restaurant

I came here before when they had the cart circling around. Back then, the dim sum was average, but at least they were steaming hot. Now, you have to go up and get what you want yourself. Fortunately, there is always a waiter helping me carry them back to my table. However, because the food has been sitting out, it is cold tastes awful. I am never going back again.

I have been to many excellent restaurants for Dim Sum, and this place will not be listed among them. They treated us like they were doing us a favor serving us. They were rude and had no interest in speaking to us because they don't speak english. When we got there they told us to sit at a table that was filled with nasty dishes. They cleaned them 10 minutes later. Some of the food was ok, but most of it was marginal. I could not emphasize enough how bad an experience it was "eating" here.

I have never posted a review, but thought I might be able to save others from wasting their time and money!

I've been here on a number of occasions with friends and family, and every time it's been a good experience! They have great Dim Sum, with excellent selection, and at night the dinner menu is extensive. Every dish I've tried has been a pleasure.

The service is great, and it's got a nice interior... with TVs inside that have different news or entertainment channels on (but not so intrusive as to be distracting), and a stage where they sometimes have performances, etc.

It can get on the expensive side depending on how much you eat, but it's worth it!

Worst experience ever for dim-sum! Plates/tea cups were dirty and oily. Dim Sum cart ladies were RUDE. They act like they're in a hurry and ignore you even if you call them.

Would NOT recommend at all. You might even find some unwanted guests crawling underneath the floor. Eaters beware!!!!

Even though it gets crowded, its worth the wait!! The food is excellent and you would definitely return after trying the dim sum! Ive already been here on several occassions and am planning to have lunch there with a friend tomorrow.

my friend recommended me to this place, they have dimsum till 3:30 which is pretty good if you're a student and got class till 3. they staff is fast and quick. The ladies pushing their carts are more than willing to show you what they have. Cheap and affordable and fast.

but not the best, it feels like it used to be better a few years ago..its big enough of a place tho if you have a large group. Nothing really outstanding, all the dumsum are pretty generic(also it seemed like a lot of the dishes were cycled around the room for too long)

Good Dim Sum, good service, great for groups, and solid prices. What more is there to say? Oh yes, super crowded.

Now, i've been doing regular weekend dimsums in chinatown for a long time. I've been to quite a few, you can say. This restaurant opened in March 2005 (i think?) and I've been taking numerous ppl there. Why? Bc it's new, it's one of the cleanest places i've been to. The decorations are as modern and sophisticated as dimsum places get. They have many smaller tables where a group of 2-4 can go and not have to share a huge table with strangers. The food has always been good, though slightly on the colder side a few times. I suspect that's bc the place is huge and it takes a long time for the food to get to you. Try it out for yourself....it's one of the two dimsum joints i frequent regularly.

An excellent place to go for authentic dim sum in manhattan chinatown. It gets crowded, but it's worth the wait. The shrimp dumplings are delicious. There's also a wide variety of dishes that you don't find at dim sum in other restaurants in the area.

Has excellent food that is not sold in other restaurants. Prices are extremely cheap during the week. During the weekend it is very crowded and if you are not right next to them when they call your number, they will give your seats up to other people... When it is busy, staff will only help you if you personally know them. At times, there will be demonstrations outside that will make you not want to go in. This is a good place to eat dinner though they will stick 16 people in a table made for 12 otherwise, the food is one of the best.
