Half Shell runs along the lines of East End Grill or Huey's (although Huey's is the best). They offer sandwiches, salads, burgers...the typical bar food.
But overall, it's a pretty laid back place to go with friends and watch sports on a lazy night out.

Half Shell is a great little bar/restaurant in East Memphis. The food includes: Reubens, steaks and delicious salads. The service can be slow at times, but it gives you time to get to know your date or sip your beer. Its atmosphere is great for dating.

Really I've never had a bad meal there , not one
Bar service is good, but this place gets smokey

Pros: pretty decent fresh fish !
Cons: THE SMOKE in the bar !!!!!!!
Not bad for the type of food ! never had a bad piece of fish, very good fried oyster appetizer, I would recommend giving the place a try ..Enjoy

If I were to own a restaurant this would be it. The food is cajun seafood (what a great mix). The service was right on time, and the atmosphere was happening at 1:15 AM. I ordered the Voodoo Porkchop and enjoyed every bite. I washed it down with a couple of shooters made up by Mike the Bartender. Thanks to all the crew at the Half Shell for a wonderful experience

Cons: 50 parking spaces, on busy street
