The theater is always clean, the aisle between the seats give one ample room to get to one's seat, and the arm rests can be put up so that one can get cozier with that significant other. I also love the surround sound. On top of that, on Tuesdays, you can get a jumbo hot dog for a dollar. Makes it worth going to the cinema again.
Hawaii Theatre
the elegant Hawaii Theatre in the heart of downtown has a variety of offerings including hula, plays, kung fu demos, concerts, modern dance, etc. Basically anything that can be performed on a stage is shown. Tickets can be purchased on line, in person, or by phone.
SEA LIFE PARK
SEA LIFE PARK IS A GIANT AQUARIUM WITH LOTS OF ISLAND FISH ON DISPLAY. IT IS ALSO HOME TO THE HAWAIIAN MONK SEAL WHICH IS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. THERE ARE SEVERAL SHOWS FEATURING TRAINED DOLPHINS AND PENGUINS. SEA LIFE PARK IS ALSO HOME TO THE ONLY WHOLPHIN IN EXISTENCE, AND THAT WHOLPHIN JUST HAD A BABY. A WHOLPHIN IS THE PRODUCT OF THE MATING OF A FALSE KILLER WHALE AND A DOLPHIN. ONE CAN GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH STING RAYS FOR A FEE, AS WELL AS ENTER THE GIANT FISH TANK AND SEE THE FISHES IN THEIR HABITAT.
ARIZONA MEMORIAL
THE ARIZONA MEMORIAL WAS FUNDED MOSTLY BY ELVIS PRESLEY WHO HELD A CONCERT WITH THE PROCEEDS GOING TO THE BUILDING OF THE MEMORIAL, A TRIBUTE TO THE MEN WHO DIED PROTECTING PEARL HARBOR AGAINST JAPANESE WAR PLANES, WHICH STARTED WORLD WAR II. THERE PRESENTLY IS A MOVIE TO WATCH IN A THEATER BEFORE BOARDING THE SHUTTLE TO THE MEMORIAL WHICH IS BUILT ON TOP OF THE SUNKEN REMAINS OF THE USS ARIZONA. THERE IS A CHAPEL ON THE MEMORIAL IN WHICH THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO DIED THAT DAY ON THE SHIP ARE INSCRIBED. IT IS A SOMBER, YET BEFITTING MEMORY OF SO MANY LIVES LOST THAT DAY.
BISHOP MUSEUM
A new science center is set to open on the grounds, but there is a revolving exhibit in the Castle Building. Lots of Hawaiian artifacts, an observatory, and a planetarium help to make this a neat museum.. They also hold concerts on the Great Lawn frequently and have special family discount days as well. It's a must see stop for visitors to the island of Oahu.

This store is interesting because the garments are made in the store and one can view the garments as they are being made.
Galleria Gifts
This is a DFS that is a whole array of little shops set off the main drag in Waikiki. The prices are competitive and you are sure to find something to your liking.
Saab Hawaii
I went to the dealership on two different occasions to inquire about their new cars. The manager remembered me. I realize that all of the salesmen want to sell cars and get their commission but they believe that their car is the best.
Saturn Of Honolulu
went in to test-drive a Saturn and to get info. The salesman was personable and knowledgable. There was no hard sell. It was nice to have no pressure.
