SDMCU has been in San Diego for many years. Their membership includes the employees of San Diego county, the Port Commision and Harbor Police. Although this credit union is relatively small compared to some of the other local credit unions, SDMCU certainly holds it own.
Being a CU, they of course pride themselves on customer service. This definitely shows through when calling over the phone or making a deposit in person. The staff is always warm and friendly and will answer any of your questions for you.
Upon the sale of my home I worked closely with this company on a complicated transaction. The representatives were always willing to answer my questions and promptly returned any phone calls.
Their office is in a beautiful location in Fashion Valley. I needed to go to the office location many times and each time I was greeted warmly. My transaction completed quickly and easily with them and I would gladly go back to them with any other real estate needs.
Although I haven't bought from this establishment yet, I was extremely impressed by their service and pride of workmanship. Their custom windows are just beautiful and they also offer classes in stained glass.
If you're looking to enhance your home with stained glass windows, I would look no furthur.
I called this company looking for advice on investing a large sum of money. I wanted to view my different options and the representative on the phone suggested I go to my local branch. I heeded her advice and went down to my local branch. I was given the correct paperwork for my request but the representative didn't seem to positive that this is exactly what I needed.
I wasn't real impressed with the service or business. I chose to look elsewhere.
This company did some plumbing repairs for me on a historical builiding in town. After my call they were able to come out immediately and resolve the problem. They even called to double check on the service after completion. The pricing for the completed job was quite fair and I would deal with this company again.
I've been a member or donator to this organization for many years. They do good things for the community and always send out quarterly newsletters updating you on their highlights. Lots of valuable information is given within the newsletters and interesting reading. I will continue to support this organization.

Stop in and say hi!
I had a vintage fireman piece located around my house that I didn't want to just give away but go somewhere that it would be wanted. I called the Firehouse and they were excited to accept the piece. The representative I spoke with sent a crew out to come pick up the piece from my property within a months time.
A beautiful hotel nestled right in downtown San Diego. Quite charming upon entry and during the holidays it's decorated quite lavishly. A perfect place for your office holiday party or a club gathering. I've always been treated with class at the Grant!
This small, intimate gallery is quite beautiful upon entry. It's nestled in a charming little area that's landscaped to perfection. Earl McGrath owns 2 galleries (LA and NY). While I've never been to the NY gallery the LA gallery is quite nice. If you visit on a day when it is not a show opening, you will find that you're probably the only one browsing. The staff is very friendly and encourages you to sign their guest book.
Stop by and see this gallery when visting LA.
