This location fits the store's character like a glove and accents the neighborhood perfectly! I've noticed that when the store changed locations, Suzana Fashion interior design and products has positively changed as well. Tons of beautiful prints and clothes, stylish yet still classic, and I love all of the new accessories. There's so much stuff in there it's a party in itself just looking through everything!
They have really cute clothes by a great local store. I'm very glad to have them in the neighborhood. The prices are a little high but the quality is good and you're supporting a local spot. The clothes seem well made and classically cut. Not trendy, but definitely eye catching. The only problem is the clothes are tiny. They made up their own sizing system, but I don't think any of the pants are bigger than a size 8 although the skirts seems to run a little bigger. I wish I could shop there.... Oh well... What is a normal-sized girl to do. Also, the staff seems to be not at all knowledgable or helpful.
This place has a nice decor and the staff seem's friendly, but there's alot of other stuff that make's it not worth going. The Shrimp Scampi - stay away from it. One shrimp was not completely cleaned and the pasta was terrible. To top it off a giant cockroach on the wall at the end of our meal...the excuse? "Oh, welcome to Rae Cafe !"
I have frequented La Victoria on a daily basis. The chocolate chip pancakes are to die for, if only they would set up business in other cities they would become a national chain. Oh as a tip, go in the early hours of the morning, we went at 3am and got almost double portions!
Too bad the food is decent and atmosphere is unbeatable- its like a tropical cheesecake factory.Too bad the service will keep people away.I ate lunch there and it wasnt even that busy- i asked for a refill on my diet coke and after the 3rd item asking i had to get up and go get it myself. Sad sad sad.
Bakers Burger's is my absolute favorite place. I tell everyone all of my friends and family that if they come to california, they have to go to.They have the most original and affordable Meal Combination's. I like the Papa Baker, its the best. When I was a teenager, wed go there all the time at like 3 in the morning.By far the best fast food joint i've been to.
Typical restaurant that promises big but ends up leaving you with the feeling you've been majorly ripped off. The tasting menu of six dishes (including an ordinary salad and dessert, really only four semi-interesting courses), at $95, is terrible. Tiny dishes that rarely rise above mediocrity, in spite of their pedigreed ingredients. Add in the supposed 'matching' wines at $45/person, and you're at $280 for two. The wines were either poorly described or not at all, and to ny taste buds, I don't think any of them were over $12 retail. Not exactly generous pours, either. The service was atrocious, unless you don't mind the servers arm in your face every time they served a dish. The wine list is THE most over-priced list I have ever seen. Oh, and the one bottle I wanted to order from their thick list? They were out of it. Which leads me to believe that their list is a fantasy.Throw in two cocktails, a tamake tuna app, and the tab was $400 incl tax and tip. The view isn'y really that great, either. Horrible!
