Ny City of City University of Ny The
This is actually one of the "better" CUNY's in the city. For a small price, you can get a decent education in a high school like setting. The campis is small and is centered around three buildings that are connected by a bridge. It is easily accesible from the train. There is no need to walk outside because the school is connected to the subway. Like all schools, don't bother buying or selling the books back to the bookstore. They have wireless access throughout the building. Prices in the cafeteria are expensive so you might as well go outside for lunch. If you are lucky, you will get a professor that will not mess up your head with their awful teaching.
E 5 Communications Inc
These workers will answer all your questions. They specialize in Verizon wireless though if you ask they will know the deals about the other companies. Honest and dependable, you can always go back and have them look and fix your phone even if its a small detail. The only thing not that good about them is the phone models they keep out. There is not much to look at when you want to know about the phone, instead you must ask them and they will bring one out from the back for you to try. At E5, you are also able to pay phone bills and wire money. Staff is always nice and speaks excellent english, they will also get you a nice number.
Jian Wei Zhang
He's a good doctor that will get to the bottom of your illness however he does have a small temper. At times when he is talking to you, it can feel like he is yelling instead of informing. The staff is a bunch of idiots. You can ask for one thing and they will give you another. Avoid the Chinese red head, she rolls her eyes more than she blinks. Their english is not up to par and will be annoyed if you try to speak english instead of Chinese. When asking for a letter, double check their grammar and their spelling.
He, Lan, Md - Lan He Physician
This doctor might as well be working in a pig sty. Her office is messier than a kid's room. She has things piled up onto her desk like there is no tomorrow. She will also give you an attitude when she thinks you are being smarter than her. Not recommended at all to anyone. The building she is in, does not even look clean and her office itself is a drabby place to go especially if you are sick. Her staff is slow on the paper work and most of the time do not know what to do besides putting a new tape in the TV to watch. There are better doctors to go to in Chinatown.
Vogue Nail Salon Ii
If you get the right person, your nails will come out looking decent. They are pretty expensive compared to other salons in the area for the price they charge. Not much on color selections either. Like all other nail salon they let you come back to get a nail fixed if you mess it up within the day. They also offer massages and pedicures. There is a bathroom in the back but the sink is outside. This is a small salon with an average time of 1 hour a manicure.
Horizon Eye Care Corp.
Selections in this store is small and everything is overpriced. You pay twice as much for what you can get at Cohen's Vision. Nothing to complain about for the service, you can always go back if you need something fixed on your glasses. They accept credit card. There is a 2 hour wait time for your glasses to be done. The thing I don't like about them is they will give you a year's worth of contacts on the spot even though they should check your eye every 6 months in case it needs to be adjusted.
Eileens Special Cheese Cake
The price is great and the staff is always nice and helpful even if you go in not knowing which to buy. They have a great selection of cheesecake. It is always fresh and tastes delicious. The store is located at a hard to find area since it is a small street. They deliver too! The cheesecakes here are the best in town, it's a wonder why they don't have a bigger store.
Pacific Aquarium & Plant Inc
They run MH on their Salt Water tanks though they get limited stocks because its a small and mainly unknown store. The fresh water selection is the basic goldfish. Most of the things you find here, you can find for a cheaper price online. The perks for this store is the staff will make sure you leave the store knowing what you bought and how to take care of the fish. Salt is expensive here. The aquariums are fairly priced though the bargain hunters will be able to find a cheaper price elsewhere.
Kualoa Ranch & Activity Club
This is one of THE place to visit in Oahu. They offer many different activities such as snorkeling, ATV, horseback riding. The ATV and horseback riding will range from 1/2 hour to 1 hour. The 1 hour tour will bring you deeper into the ranch and you will see the area where parts of Jurassic Park was filmed. The staff is highly knowledgeable and will talk to you and treat you like a friend. There are wild pigs and chickens all over the grounds. The horses are calm though some will throw you and you must sign a waiver before going on the tours. The ATV rides are fun but you must ride in a line one behind the other. Sights that you will see on the 1 hour horseback is the China Man's hat, a very intriguing looking island.
Golden Bridge Restaurant
Has excellent food that is not sold in other restaurants. Prices are extremely cheap during the week. During the weekend it is very crowded and if you are not right next to them when they call your number, they will give your seats up to other people... When it is busy, staff will only help you if you personally know them. At times, there will be demonstrations outside that will make you not want to go in. This is a good place to eat dinner though they will stick 16 people in a table made for 12 otherwise, the food is one of the best.
