Great selection of goodies. Well worth the trip to Falkville to get these fresh backed items. Great selection of bread and cake items. Wonderful rolls, awesome cakes. Always clean and well lit. Friendly staff and great service. Prices are reasonable for what you get and I don't mind going out of my way to go there!
Robin's Nest
This store likes to think of itself as an exclusive high priced children's boutique. They have some cute, albeit expensive lines of upscale children's clothing. Some of it you either just have a taste for it or you don't. The problem is they seem to think that they are so exclusive that they don't focus on customer service at all. Both times I have been in this store, the salesperson has been carrying on a personal conversation with someone and never once acknowledged my presence!
Havoline Express Lube
This is the best one stop convenience store and you don't even have to get out of your car! Their drive thru even takes checks and debit cards. I have never had to wait in line there, for some reason they are never busy. The staff is always friendly and courteous, they seem happy to get you what you want.
Nail Designs By Kim
Nice nail salon in the little Hartselle shopping plaza/indoor mall. Always bright and clean, the staff is pleasant and friendly. I always feel pampered after visiting them! They are very knowledgable about nail care and do a good job. I especially love their pedicures and one brand of polish they use in particular. Their prices are very reasonable and there is usually never a wait.
Buzzy's Jewelry Repair-Sales
Smaller, locally owned shop. Never had an opportunity to see the quality of his repair work because he said it would take about ten days. Seems to be really busy. Nice, clean, bright shop with friendly staff. Decent selection of jewelry, though not like what you would see at one of the big chains. He was hard to get through on the the phone.
Christophers Jewelry Sales & Repair
Very small, but very nice little store and repair shop! Extremely clean office. The owner does his own work and seems very knowledgable about what he does. He is usually able to complete repairs and work within just a couple of days. Easy to get through by phone, he is always nice and accomodating. Very pleased with the quality of his works!
Prime Kuts By Liz Beauty Salon
The ladies here are very nice and knowledgable. They perform good services and give good cuts. Prices are not what I would call really reasonable, but they are not too high either. They do take walkins and don't always require an appointment, which is nice. Drawback, there seems to be a turnover of stylists. The salon is always nice, clean and bright and the bathroom is positively sparkling!
Cantrell's Clean-Rite Cleaners
Prices are a little higher than some. Some of the staff, while friendly, does not seem very knowledgable. We had to wait for someone else to come in to get answers to our questions. We also had to call several times to get through. Very clean looking business and our items seemed to be cleaned well, all spots removed.
Total Comfort
Total comfort goes above and beyond what is required of a business. They make calls at all hours and are always striving to please. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable and work is performed quickly and efficiently. Instead of ordering a part and waiting on it to come in to them, they will drive to get it themselves whenever possible. These are just a few of our experiences with them. They have performed much needed repairs for us.
The Second Hand Store
This is a neat store with a mom and pop type atmosphere. They carry all kinds of stuff, but primarily furniture and antiques. Since I know nothing about antiques I cannot vouch for the quality of their items. The prices don't seem too bad. Selection is hit or miss. On current items that they sometimes have (like clothing or toys for example) the prices do seem like a little much. I have seen some really nice older stuff in there though.
