I was not impressed with this restaurant, even though the owners (husband and wife) were freindly. First of all, we had to wait an extremely long time for the table. Inside the waiters were very unorganized. When we were finally seated, two different waiters wanted to take our orders. But they were not insync with each other. I ordered a simple steak burrito and it was completly disgusting. It had rice, beans, and about 3 pounds of melted and unmelted chhese inside!! It was the worst. And my friend had a drink that was very watrered down. It wasn't as cheap as I expected either. ot for that quality anyway. I don't think that I would ever return ti this business again. The service was poor, the food did not taste good, and when you walk to the restroom, you see a filthy open ended kitchen.
This twenty nine year old family business has alays been a charming addition to the West Portal Community. Searving brunch on the weekends and lunch and dinner daily, this restuarant always uses the freshest of ingedients, especially the produce. My favorite dish is Eggs Benedict. The chef creates the hollindase sause from scratch. And what I also love about this restaurant is how they celebrate certain holidays. I took my mom here for bunch on Mother's day and they traeted her like a queen with flowers and gifts. Its a really homey environment. But I just noticed a few weeks ago that the owners are going to sell the business. I hope it will stay the same.
Dr Sany Martim (her x husbands name is Burns) helped me to fix my ingrown teonail problem. She gave me a small injection which did not hurt at all. She then cleaned the area, and removed a slit of my toenail from the ingrowing side. She put some chemical that killed the root ad bandaged me up. She gave me intructions on what to do at home She was a very pleasant and friendly doctor. She knew exactly what to do for my probelm in an easy manner. i was very happy with her services.
This family owned Chinese restaurant has the absolute best chinese food in the entire bay area. You are quickly greeted once you enter and offered tea and a menu. The lady is friendly and offers some suggestions of the house favorites. Not after waiting too long, you get a huge plate of steaming food. My favroite here is the Mongolian Beef. The seasoning is just right and the beef is tender. You can tell that all of the ingredients are extremely fresh. And when you walk through the kitchen to head to the washroom, it is almost spotless. For the absolute best chinese food, you have to try Lai Lai
I was not at all impressed with The West Portal Flower Shop. It was highly recommended to me by a friend that awore by the freshness of the flowers and the artistic arrangements. I really found nothing out of the ordinary. Yes, the flowers were fresh, but the arrangements were simple and not creative. And the prices were expensive for the type of arrangements offered. I think that if you are going to buy flowers at that ridiculous price, then go somewhere that deserves the price.
My husband sent be a flower arrangement on my birthday. I have to admit that this arrangement was one of the most beautiful creations that I have ever see. It was a complete work of art. It seemed like the person that made the arragement took notice of every petal, of every leaf And it was delivered in this beautiful rustic vase that completed the look. Prices are a little more pricy than other florists, but if you really want to impress someone with a work of art, then this is definitely your place.
The San Francisco Flower Mart is the absolute best place to buy flowers in the city. Not many people realize that the general public can purchase flowers at certain times of the day. It not only for vendors and retailers. They have a huge selection of fresh flowers daily. And the prices are actually wholesale prices, so its worth it. Street parking is pretty bad, but they do have their own parking lot that is free for a short period of time. If you want beautiful, inexpensive flowers, then check out the flower mart.
I needed to order flowers for a client at work and my boss recommended Union Street Flowers. Its a pretty nice store. They have an excellent selction of arrangements to choose from at affordable prices. The flower bouquet that I picked out were very fresh. I was happy with the service and selection. This place id highly recommended. The man behind the counter was very friendly and aswered all of my questions. Overall, It was a good experience. I would definitely return.
This is a beautiful place that has a room well equped to host a wedding venue. My husband's wedding had her formal engagement party here a few months ago. The room has niuce large windows in the front that are overlooking the golf course. The food was amazing and she chose to have an open bar all night. The prices were much better than hotel venues. The only thing that I did not like about the banquet room was that it had huge pillars that blpcked the front of teh room depending on the angle of you table. Otherwise, it was very nice. Great quality food and drinks that rum you about 62 bucks (plus tax) for full sit down dinner, cold appetizers, and open ball all night.
My mom's friend hosted her daughter's wedding at the Basque Cultural Center. I was really surprised at the ambiance that they offered for such a low price. You are usually charged an arm and a leg to host a wedding/party, but not here. And they definitely do not skimp at the quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening and I would recommend Basque for any event. If you will be planning any kind of party, take a look at this amazing french restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious.
