I'm not much into the holistic craze that the other hippies in Davis seem to dig, but the store definitely has it's interesting things to browse for so you will have to decide on your own. I liked the assortment of candles which seem to be advertised as Davis-made, so go on and support your local community and buy their stuff!
Bird is the word here and that's all there really is to say about it due its mysterious nature to be honest. I don't know much more about this place from my visit than before, so I can't give it a high rating due to my confusion. Oh well, as long as they are helping all the hurt birds of the world I am satisfied with this business. Two claws up.
I loved the cozy 300 person room and all the community groups which participate here yearly, there are some truly amazing shows being put on here. I share the opinion of many though that acoustics need to be reworked, as it is simply atrocious at times and more than a teaspoon of sugar is needed to fix it. Lovely place regardless though.
Loved the shops cozy, yet spacious design and their flower arrangements they had to offer. Like all flower shops they are a bit pricey, but I do believe the service and flowers offered at Mengalis to be of better quality and love to put it frank. Good place though if Mengalis is full, I highly recommend it.
Way more than any other Cleaners in town, so I highly do not recommend this place. It just is not feasible that they charge this much and are not very professional with their services when other places can do the same work for less money. I will do it myself and make a mess rather than go here again if you sense my desparity.
What can you expect... it's not the grandest establishment, but what school setting is? The products this family-based business offer are very nice for the teaching world and I highly recommend it over the generic stuff you find at Kinkos and Staples today. Support their business. Too bad it's on a far side of town, I think it would do well in downtown but rent would increase.
Been here since 1992 so it isn't going anywhere. Happened to find it one day and browsed their selection and was amazed at the time they put into their shop. Very great for the West Davis crowd who don't want to travel to the Open Bible on G street and their prices are comparable to them as well.
Overpriced garbage is all I have to say about this place. I only went there once for some simple items and it was ridiculous, the stuff sells for half or even less at Safeway. I hear it is going to close soon, but I bet even on clearance prices it will cost more than Safeway. Don't go here. Ever. It sucks.
I don't know, maybe it was just me but this place really freaked me out. Perhaps I'm just too grown up to truly appreciate what was going on here, but I felt it was awkward and quickly backed out of there. Maybe if I was to go back to the future and try again 10 years ago I could give it 3 stars or better.
Food is decent, yet overpriced. The only time I've been here, given I live across the street, was for a fundraiser and I wasn't impressed. They had many cool tv sets around the place to create the atmosphere but the service and food itself wasn't worth the cost. Not into paying that much for pizza, it's just another food group after all.
