This customer has been permanently burned by their lack of customer service. I have had all three appointments canceled or rescheduled. My first appointment was with the owner Shelly. Someone called me the morning of the appointment to ask me to come in earlier the stylist?s daughter was sick, inconvenient but I made it happen. I really-really liked the service I received excellent color and cut. I scheduled my return appointment for 6 weeks later. Fast forward 6 weeks again someone calls me to reschedule to the following week I can't remember the excuse given. Someone called to cancel the next appointment the person said Shelly's had a meeting. I didn't re-schedule but called back later and scheduled a massage, same day and time as the hair appointment. Imagine my anger, disbelief, confusion (not sure the right word) when I walk in to see
Shelly and her staff working on a?......wedding party!! A return (and extremely loyal customer) was bumped and technically lied to?! The massage wasn't that good. The treatment rooms aren't sound insulated or separated from the salon floor and every bump, bang, giggle, and cell phone ring was heard loud and clear. I left wanting to get some peace and quiet, more nerve racking because all the noise seemed to echo back into the treatment room. FYI I had to ask the masseuse to ease up a few times she was pulling so hard it caused physical pain. Now it is 4 weeks past the appointment made for 6 weeks post color and nothing, I can't get another appointment with Shelly. I don't choose to use her other stylist. Reason why? During my first appointment I heard her client say "That is completely NOT the color I wanted." Her face said it all the stylist said "Well I hope this won't turn you away and you come back." Right I would guess that's not going to happen. I went to this salon on a recommendation that was spot on and Shelly was the firs stylist in 2 years to get it right and not drain my bank account in the process or sell me all their products but I give her salon 1 star on keeping their customers happy keeping an appointment is a fundamental of doing business you can?t expect your clients to keep re-arranging their schedule. She also doesn't seem to have a staff with the kind of experience you would expect in a "Salon" that offers the high end service she advertises. (I?ve only seen 3 total stylists, 1 nail person, and 1 masseuse). Lost customer forever!! I will go back to Aveda and pay ridiculous prices just because they have never rescheduled or cancelled for better money appointments.
