When visiting my Mom recently, she wanted to stop out at this store to see if she could find some nice toys for two great grandsons so stop we did. I usually frequent Goodwill stores so this was a first time visit for me at this organization. I was pleasantly surprised. The store was large, clean and brightly lit. The merchandise was displayed well and there was a lot to choose from. Needless-to-say, I came away with more treasures than my Mom did!
The Galena Cellars Winery story is a nice place to stop in when shopping in the Galena. I love wine tasting and often go with friends and we enjoy sitting, soaking up the sun and enjoying some samples. More often than not, I come home with a bottle of very nice wine.
Well stop in and shop in this old time theater- remodeled into a fantastic gift shop. I love going in this shop because there is always something that I find new, interesting, or a "must have". With all the other gift stores in this town, it's hard to stand out, but The Store Next Door certainly does.
Every year a series of dog shows are held at his campgrounds and as we have a 5th wheel and are dog showers, we like to attend. The campsites are flat and not crowded. There are full service hookup available. Fire rings, kindling, and picnic tables are plentiful. The only thing that would make this campground better would be trees!
I've taken several seminars and college classes at the Bethel Horizons that have been very good. They have facilities for staying overnight, camping areas and food available. The opportunities to study and learn are endless. There are meeting places, one in a barn, and a museum with very interesting items. A small gift shop is here as well. While teaching in the area, I also had the opportunity to take classes here on field trips. These were expertly organized and the students received a great education.
Tom's campground is a litttle away from everything but is just off a major highway that traverses the SW corner of Wisconsin. The campground is a few miles off this highway and near nothing else. The closest town is 5 miles away. It's pretty much a place that travelers stop at when passing through.
I've only stopped here a few times but have never been disappointed. I love the selection of apples in the fall. The fruit and vegetables have always been fresh and good.
I love going to Brennans, especially in the late summer and fall of the year. Their fruit and produce are without comparison. I love their selection of apples at this time of the year. Of course their prices are relatively high but the quality is well worth the extra expense. Brennans Country Farm Market is by far the best in the area.
I have only had one lunch here but it was very good. I love the ambience of the old mining days. The service was good, the prices as well and the food was worth returning again for. I recommend this eating establishment.
This restaurant has changed hands many times. I have stopped in, particularly for lunch, when owned and operated by several different people. The quality of the service and meal varied drastically. Some being good, and others being less than good. With this particular ownership, I have only had one lunch there and that left a great deal to be desired. I can not recommend this eating establishment.
