I went to the Cook's Room for lunch on two different occasions and both times I was very pleased. The soups were excellent, the sandwiches very delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The prices weren't bad either! I would definitely recommend this place to eat, particularly for lunch as I have not had any other experience there.
If you've been to other Mexican restuarants before, you'll feel right at home here as this one is very similar. The salsa and chips are a nice touch to munch on while waiting for your order. The margaritas aren't bad either. The entres were just so so. As I said, this place was very much like all the others of the same type.
I stopped in at Nellie's cupboard today to use a gift certificate that I had received. The restuarant is in the lower portion of a house and is made up of at least two rooms that I could see. The decore was pleasant. I had heard so much about their homemade pies and thought that I would use my gift certificate to purchase a few. Unfortunately, they didn't have any made up and when I asked if I could get some for the next day, I was told that the pastry chefs weren't working this weekend. So, I really don't know just how good there bakery good are. Because I do have the gift certificate, I suppose that I will find out in the near future.
If you love Pizza, Bullets is the place to go, without a doubt. I'm told by friends that the rest of the menu is equally as good but I've never had anything except the pizza. I don't get a chance to eat pizza out often and when I do, I seldom pass it up. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I've only been to Bonnies for lunches so can't speak about the meals at other times of the day but the lunches here are great! The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly and efficient and the lunches were very good. I would definitely recommend Bonnies for anyone who appreciates good meals.
I have met several people there for lunch on three different occasions. Although the service was okay, the food was just that also. Just okay. It's okay if you aren't picky but it's not a place I plan on returning to.
I was taken to this store by another beader and was definitely in awe. I don't think I've ever seen so many beads in one place! As per usual, I couldn't come away without many examples of their products. This store is quite off my beaten path so I haven't been back since. However, I have a feeling that I'll be making a little side trip to Sun Prairie in the near future.
When my husband was going to school at Stout, we took up golfing as something to do that was relatively inexpensive. He was good, I wasn't. What I remember most about this course was that there was a lot of trees/woody area along many of the fairways. Since my balls always seemed to be drawn into these areas, I spent a great deal of time looking for my balls. Often I didn't find mine but did come away with many othe lost balls. I don't remember a great deal about the course from those excursions into the back woods of north WI other than my husband liked the course. I would be nice to revisit now that I may be able to spend more time on the actual course!
What surprised me the most when attending a viewing at Ericksons was that the undertaker was a young man, much younger than I. I'm not sure why this took me by surprise but it did. I found thought that Brent was pleasant to all, and very caring with the family. The funeral home is very stylish, pretty, and pleasant to be in.
Diego Comacho doesn't fit the usual idea of a funeral director but he is a very good one. His upbeat personality adjusts to fit the occasion, with compasion and caring, and little bit of optimism as well. I haven't personally had to deal directly with Diego but have attended many viewings at his establishment and if and when I do need this service I wouldn't hesitate to call on Diego.
