My husband I went to Miller visions for years. They are super nice and have a huge selections of frames. They seem to be more high tech than my old optometrist. Unfortunately, their price points seem to be higher than others.
When we moved up here from NC, Patricia A. O'Herrick helped us find a house. We were in a difficult situation and she went over and beyond to help us! I would highly recommend her to anybody in search of a home!
Kenny True was our Realtor when we were buying our first house. We decided him after visiting with many Realtor's that were recommended. He understood our decision and was very patient with us. I would highly Recommend Kenny!
After a devastating mold problem we had to get our entire bathroom ripped apart down to the studs. ReBath was able to make it better than it was before. We had plain white tile before that always looked dirty to me. However with their acrylic siding it looks like tile but will never mold! I was very happy with the end results. The consultant that came to the house was very knowledgeable and helpful. What I did not like about them is that their lead time was ridiculous. It's one thing to wait 3 months when you have a usable bathroom but ours was destroyed. They also have to work around the weather because they cut the acrylic outside.
When my husband and bought our first house we had to recarpet the entire up stairs. Carpets by Direct was recommend to us by our Realtor. There was a very kind older lady that really knew her stuff.. I wasn't super happy with the quality of the carpet, but we had to go with the cheaper stuff. I guess you get what you pay for. Since we bought our carpet, Carpets by Direct has redone their show room and increased their prices to give a more upscale feel.
My husband I both went to Annie Reid for a few years. Her dental hygienists were superb and Annie was as nice and friendly as she could be. She seemed to have all the necessary high tech gadgets and seemed very knowledgeable in her field. I highly recommend her.
We went to Pets considered a few times and they do have some neat stuff. The down side is that they are super expensive compared to chains like Petsmart.
This is a good place for lunch. I like the selection of pizza, and the sandwiches are pretty good. During the lunch rush, it can take some time to get your food. It's a welcome change from the other restaurants nearby.
Hams is a fine place to go for lunch, just don't expect to be wowed. My favorite item at Hams is the margaritas I always get them on the rocks. The service in this particular store is horrible.
I worked close to Jay's Deli so we went there in a pinch a couple times. The service was average and the food is greasy. It's a fine place to go in a pinch but I wouldn't seek it out.
