I've never actually bought anything at 4 Play, but I've been in there several times. I think it's a little too hip for me at this stage, but their stuff certainly looks cool. Maybe after I get a few piercings and a tattoo....
They have nice things at Firefly, but to find something I really want to buy for my girls, I have to visit several times. But, when I do find something there, it's really nice. The clothes are discounted, but still pricier than your average Old Navy, etc. But SOOO much nicer.
This shop is really beautiful, quite pricey, but worth it. They have a small but gorgeous selection of mens and women's clothes, some jewelry and a few little gifty things. I dropped a bit of cash there this Christmas season. And my husband is VERY happy with his new shirt!
So, for years I've thought that this was just a store for the big & tall... but then I ventured in there and realized they have basic men's clothing in all sizes. And they have a fantastic selection of hiking boots. Who knew??? Good prices and friendly service too.
Heavenly frozen custard - aka soft ice cream - served up in typical Coney Island style. Whenever we go to Coney Island, we must finish up with a cone at Denny's delight. Try the pistachio or the banana. Delish!
I love Topaz Thai! I used to eat there a lot when I worked in that neighborhood. Then, when my kids were born, we ordered in to the hospital and had Thai food delivered for my first post-partum meal... so, I have kind of a sentimental attachment to this place. But the food is great!
THe food is fine, the atmosphere is fun though a bit loud. Desserts are okay, but nothing to rave about. This is a fun place to go with friends from out of town, but I prefer a smaller, cozier environment
Basic reliable chinese food. Nothing fancy, nothing too great. But decent food at good prices for when you just have to have some chinese food and you happen to be in the theatre district.
THe food here is nothing short of amazing. It's so delicious you can't believe it. I used to order in here when I worked at an investment bank on the east side. So yummy. It's a bit fancy and a bit pricey, especially for chinese food, but you haven't had chinese food like this before. It's great!
The food here is really good. The atmosphere is typical 80's chinese-restaurant-style. Pink napkins, you know the deal. But the food is great. Try the crispy fish!
