Great burritos, fresh and quick. Great place for lunch. Inexpensive. What's not to like?? I like the California burrito, but beware... it's very big!
Odd restaurant with mostly salmon on the menu... but, lo and behold, it's very good! They serve a bunch of healthy crunchy type dishes. Food is high quality. I found the staff to be very sweet, if a little in the clouds sometimes. But, unlike the previous reviewer, I think this is a great place to go!
Food is great here! And best of all, you don't have to order - they just bring you a bunch of things that they are cooking that night. And it's all delicious. And it changes every night! I've rarely been served the same thing and we've eaten there a lot! And they are very friendly too.
Need a roast chicken with delicious sides super-cheap and super-fast? Flor de Mayo is your place! We used to take out from here all the time when we lived in this neighborhood. Wish there was something just as good in Park Slope!
oh the hot chocolate! oh the pretzel croissant! everything at city bakery is totally delicious. it's expensive for a bakery/cafe, but it is SOOOO worth it!
I love EJ's! It's better to go during the week so you don't have to brave the crowds on the weekends, but they've got a great kid-friendly breakfast, brunch and lunch menu - and their dinner is great too!
The seafood here is very good, fresh, and decently priced. But, I don't really like the big, suburban vibe. It just doesn't feel that creative or cozy here. But, a good place to go with a big group. It's kind of loud, but that's okay.
This place has the usual pre-made desserts, in a fun atmosphere - especially if you are teenager or 20-something. I used to love to go there, but now, not so much. It's crowded and bustling and fun.
This place has yummy Italian food - served family style. It's not the kind of place I want to eat at all the time... not even very often. But when I want huge portions, without paying a lot of money, to feed a crowd, in an upscale but not fancy environment, this is a great place to go.
The food here can be good, nothing to get excited about, but fairly solid and consistent. This is a workable weeknight option with the kids when I don't feel like cooking. The kids menu is more interesting than your average kids menu, and it's cheap too. The regular menu isn't expensive either, and I can always find something I enjoy.
