Norfolk hardware is a convenient, local spot to get many of your hardware/home center needs without having to drive out to the big-name places. Quality items at basic pricing. I did not like their hours, from what I recall they would close earlier than the big-name places, so they were not readily available all the time. I would just suggest they extend their hours of operation.
This is a nice place to rent quality tools from. The pricing is decent, with flexible time-frames. The location is nice so that we did not have to go far out of our way to a big-name tool rental place. Efficient staff. Would definitely recommend.
I went to Immediadent on High Street one time. I did not get seen, and I left unhappy. When I filled out the questionnaire, I was told to wait, and then waited for an hour and a half, with my two children with me, and it took them that long to notify me that one of my answers on the questionnaire indicated that I could not be treated at that moment. I didn't get why they couldn't have told me that immediately. Won't go back.
This is a fun bowling spot, you can have great fun here. Also has a pool table. Not that many bowling lanes, but still fun. Downfall is that the food is not worth buying, too expensive! Bring your own food!
I took my old car here for repair of the radiator. The radiator had to be replaced, and also a heat/cool knob had to be repaired. The car I had was a new Ford Explorer and I didn't want to pay extortion prices at the dealership! But did I learn a lesson here! My husband brought the car for repair here, it cost around $800!!!! And the mechanic did not do a great job. The heat did work once the repair was done (because the heat had stopped working), but there was a lot of cold air coming through where the entire front structure of the interior had to be removed and then replaced. It never felt the same after that, feeling the really cold air coming in onto my feet. They did not do a good job giving my car back the way I sent it in.
Canobie Lake Park is sooo much fun! It's no six flags, but I prefer Canobie Lake for it's more family and community feel. It has TONS of fun, great rides! One weekend I stayed at a hotel in the area just to be able to go for 2 days! Cool stuff for the children too (lol). The price is good too.
I have been to several different mountains to snowboard, and of them all so far, Mount Sunapee is my absolute favourite. GREAT snow conditions, smooth, soft, NOT icy! Snowboarding is a great enjoyment here! Of course you can rent equipment here, drink hot beverages in between runs. Snowboarding/skiing here in Spring is cool, March is lovely because it is nice and sunny, not TOO cold so you can enjoy your runs without all the bulk of a ski coat. And the trails are fun!
I spent several years snowboarding at Wachusett Mountains. This is where I learned to board in high school. Wachusett Mountains does not offer a very good quality snow surface. Very icy at time, making snowboarding less fun and dangerous! I took some nasty falls because of how macy icy-bits got in the way, making it bumpy, not smooth. All-in-all, not the best choice for snow-sports.
My mother took her bicycle here for her servicing needs. It is a really cool community bike shop, with a range of parts and also bicycles for sale. The owner is really nice and knows what he's doing!
I used to wash with my mother at this laundromat, it was a nice community laundromat, didn't get too crowded most days, machines washed clean and dryers dried well!
