This shoe boutique is a wonderful find in West Seattle--worth the trek from any neighborhood. Extremely friendly and down-to-earth staff make it an enjoyable shopping experience for all! Oustanding products, and you should check out their shoe blog--you won't believe the incredible offers you will find there! Fun and unique styles! You should go right now!
A fantastic "mom and pop" sushi house in West Seattle. Not stuffy, not over-priced--delicious, creative rolls, and the service always friendly and prompt. The Mango Fandago is incredible, and the Spicy Crunchy California roll is a favorite. Traditional fare, but lots of choices for the non-sushi lover, too!
A fun consignment shop in West Seattle--clothes range from high-end, to department store brands. A great selection of jeans and shoes. The staff generally are friendly and helpful--I've had mixed experiences. Their new location is much more well put-together and "user friendly". I've found some great items here. Sometimes the brand name items are still a bit pricy for used items. Still a fun place to shop on a budget!
A cute, friendly Thai place with a gorgeous Alki view. The food is good--a large variety to choose from, and the owners are so friendly. The service is great, and it's a nice, mellow, quiet place to dine. Great for a quiet date! And you just can't beat the view!
A great irish pub--good service, and the food is quite good! Being a vegetarian, I was impressed with the number of choices on the menu that catered to my non-meat-eating ways. And, seriously, you HAVE to eat the giant brownie sundae, topped with Guiness ice cream. It's a must-have. Incredible!! They also have a fun trivia night.
This is the kind of place that you can't wait to share with your friends and family. A wonderful, well-planned seasonl menu, and the food is amazing. A bit on the pricy side, but not out of reach for the food and service you receive. I've been twice when I've had to adjust my order because they were out of certain items, but the service is outstanding, and that makes up for it! A great place for brunch or dinner!
I'm glad, in a way, to know I'm not the only one who has experienced terrible service here. The pizza is AMAZING--and that is the ONLY reason I will return a few times a year. Almost everytime my husband and I have been there, the service has been terrible. We always end up waiting an insanely long time for a slice of pizza and a sald (nearly 45 mins. last time), and our server was barely seen--I had to ask her twice for a refill on my drink. I would hope that management is aware--sounds like its a pretty big issue--step up your game! This place could be twice as successful as it is with a step up in service.
A laid back late-night hang-out. At first outside appearance, you think "Frat house sports bar", but go inside--it's a sleek, laid back, mellow hang-out. Nice tapas menu, cozy booths, friendly staff. Sometimes they seem to be out of their tapas items. I've been there 4 times, and twice have had to change my order, but a fun, mellow night spot.
World class pastries and desserts--it truly doesn't get any better than this. Oh, and the best mochas this side of the Space Needle--how can it not be with their house-made chocolate ganache! Always busy, so be prepared to wait in line, but if you're not in a rush, it's well worth the wait. The staff and owner are an incredible team, and will treat you well!
Comfy, cozy, innovative drinks--and the innovation is earned, not stuffy. A fantastic place to catch up with friends, chat with the owner, play a game of speed scrabble, catch up on some reading, or listen to live music.
The firefly theme is just an added bonus.
